Chanel Brun Sortilege - Sorceress 21 - made in France and in USA versions

Today I have swatches of the Made in France version of Brun Sortilege 21 and the Made in USA version of Brun Sortilege – Sorceress 21.

They could be from fall 1999, maybe older or slightly younger, but I have not been able to verify it!

I am wearing Brun Sortilege 21 (slightly darker) on my index and ring finger, and Brun Sortilege – Sorceress 21 (slightly lighter) on my middle finger and pinkie, both in two easy coats.

The slight difference in the dark brown color can be because of a lot of facts. I bought both mine as pre owned so has one been allowed to fade, the other not, has one been thinned etc. etc. But available pigments at the time they were produced also could be a reason – just as what pigments were allowed in France and which in USA.

No matter what it’s a classic and pretty brown, and I’m happy to have both in my collection.

Do you like these two versions of this old polish?

Chanel Diamond 21 and Grenat 22, Lumieres d’Artifices 2003 - Collaboration Saturday

In this Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel, I have two quite fun old Chanel polishes, two toppers from 2003, the Lumieres d’Artifices collection: Diamond 21 and Grenat 22.

When you look at the bottles your first thought is, eh, what..?

But after a shake-up you go: OHHHH – especially the red Grenat 22 looks amazing…

Another fun thing is that the only text is found at the bottom of the bottles, there are neither back nor front labels!

On to the swatches:

Here they are in two coats over black, this finish is super shiny – so no top coat. You see Grenat 22 on the index and ring finger and Diamond 21 on the middle finger and the pinkie.

Dance Legend Hysteria 21, WOW Prism swatches

Dance Legend Hysteria 21, is one of the WOW Prism polishes. It’s a delicate pink with a slight lavender hue. The holo bits are out of hand, they sparkle like crazy in the sun, in artificial light, and the effect is very visible in all other light settings. This is two easy coats and a coat of Seche Vite.

Micro Painting Monday - 21

On this Micro Painting Monday #21 I will show you the 4 paintings that played a major role in deciding to try to sell my micro paintings...
These 4 are in our private collection

If you do not want to mount your set of paintings directly on the wall, you can frame them.
And if you choose a frame with a passepartout it gives depth and hides the holes in the side in a thin frame.
You can choose a different color than white behind the paintings, and if you get tired of the chosen color you can choose another - one of the huge advantages  of the clear acrylic backing...

This set also is from my private collection, you can see it as the middle piece of the frame with 3 set of paitings...
