Aquadelic abstract

 

 

This was my first attempt in this type of abstract, which lead to others, of which I have shown a few more advanced. I have noticed a lot of bloggers doing the black outlining since then ;)

The base color is China Glaze Aquadelic. With a dotting tool I painted the pattern in Sinful 24/7 and China Glaze Beach Cruise-R – both neons, and I outlined with a black striper and top coated with Seche Vite – I liked this one!

Dette var mit første forsøg i denne type abstrakt, som førte til andre hvoraf jeg allerede har vist et par stykker, der er mere avancerede. Jeg har også set en del bloggere bruge den sorte outlining siden da ;)

Grundfarven er China Glaze Aquadelic. Jeg malede mønsteret med et dotting tool og de to neon lakker: Sinful 24/7 og China Glaze Beach Cruise-R. Til sidst outlinede jeg mønsteret med en sort striper, og toplakken er Seche Vite.

Splish, splash I’m on holo and flowers

 

Silly name for this post – sorry LOL – it’s one of the old mani's (July 7^th) that I considered not to post at all, but here it is…
The base color is one single coat (nice, right??) of China Glaze Splish Splash from the Summer Neons Collection 2012. On my ring finger I used a holo top coat from Girly Bits called Hocus Pocus, and in daylight it kills the nice blue color, but OH in the evening it’s magic. The flowers are painted in acrylic colors and the center is dotted with China Glaze Beach Cruise-R. Top coat is as usual Seche Vite.

Det er et skørt navn – men I ved jo, at jeg ikke kan lade være ;) – det er en gammel mani fra den 7. juli, som jeg overvejede slet ikke at poste.

Grundfarven er et enkelt lag (herligt ikke?) af China Glaze Splish Splash fra Summer Neons Collection 2012. På min ringfringer brugte jeg en holo top coat fra Girly Bits, der hedder Hocus Pocus. Om dagen dræber den den smukke blå farve, men om aftenen og i direkte sol er den magisk. Blomsterne er malet med akrylfarve, og midten er dottet med China Glaze Beach Cruise-R. Toplakken er Seche Vite.

The base color is China Glaze Beach Cruise-R from the Summer Neons coll. 2012. It’s only ONE coat over my base coat – what’s not to like about that LOL

I painted sunflower-like flowers in acrylic colors, and I top coated with Seche Vite.

Jeg malede solsikkelignende blomster med akrylfarve, og toplakken er Seche vite.

Hiding in Neons

 

 

In my series of “Hiding in X” it's time for the neons. Over my ridge filler base coat I painted one coat of OPI Alpine Snow. Then I created the camouflage pattern in neon colors with a dotting tool. Orange: Orly Orange Punch, pink: Barry M Neon Pink, the rest are China Glaze: I’m With the Lifeguard (green), Splish Splash (blue), Sun-Kissed (yellow) and Beach Cruise-R (purple). The top coat is Seche Vite.

I min serie af “Hiding in X” manicurer er turen kommet til neonfarverne. Over min ridgefiller grundlak lagde jeg et lag OPI Alpine Snow, og derefter malede jeg mønstre med et dotting tool og de ovenstående neonfarver. Toplakken er Seche Vite.

I did not buy all from this collection, but I might have to buy more - they are absolutely amazing. I have used all of them with nail art on. They are easy to apply, and through and through amazing!
Jeg købte ikke alle fra denne kollektion, men jeg er vist nødt til at købe flere af dem, de er helt enestående. Jeg har afprøvet dem alle med nail art på. De er lette at påføre og er helt igennem fantastiske!

Beach Cruise-R, I'm With The lifeguard, Sun Kissed and Splish Splash

Beach Cruise-Ris a bright, beautiful purple. One coat gives full opacity.
Beach Cruise-R er en flot, klar lilla, der dækker allerede ved et lag.

I'm with the Lifeguard, a bold, bright green, I'm complete in love with it. It's a 2-coater.
I'm with the Lifeguard,en fræk, klar grøn, jeg er fuldstændigt vild med den. To lag dækker fint.

Love's a Beach, a hot, bright pink. I don't know how the opacity is, it's not mine, but I think 2 coats.

Splish Splash is a bright medium blue. One single coat is enough!
Splish Splasher en klar, medium blå, den dækker ved et enkelt lag!

Sun Kissed is a highlighter yellow, bold and strong. Two coats over a base coat gives full opacity.
Sun Kissed har samme farve som en gul speedmarker. To lag over en grundlag dækker helt.
