Irresistible flowers - floral nail art

OK, this is an 8 month old mani from the vault - time to post it, my nails really were shorter back then, huh ;)

The base color is Chanel Irresistible 127 from Christmas 2002, and I actually wore this mani around Christmas 2013. Before I painted subtle flower vines I dabbed the tips with Ciate Confetti to add some sparkle. The top coat is as always Seche Vite.

Accent nail with large floral nail art

The base color is Emily de Molly Head Over Heals, see swatches HERE. As usual I painted my nail art with acrylic craft colors, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

During the summer I have worn a lot of nail polishes without nail art, and when I finally did paint something, most of the time it was subtle and/or accent nails as you have seen a few examples of, and I kind of prefer that at the moment...

Outlined floral nail art

The base color is Arcane Lacquer Respite Lane, see swatches HERE, and to match its green flecks I chose to paint a subtle floral nail art with outlined petals without solid color in the petals. The top coat is Seche Vite.

As I told earlier today I am not in love with Respite Lane, but the nail art made me like the end result!

Red poppy nail art on Himalayan Blue Poppy

The base color is Smitten Polish Himalayan Blue Poppy, see swatches HERE – and of course I needed to paint red poppies on it ;) I used acrylic craft paint for the poppies and the top coat is Seche Vite. I know the stems are very subtle, but that's the look I went for...

Floral frame - Artsy Wednesday

I like framed nails if they aren’t mine…. This week’s challenge is however framed nails, so I had to get creative LOL.

The base color is the gorgeous Essie Bikini So Teeny – and I framed my nails with floral vines. I was quite happy about it, but in retrospect I would have liked the flowers bigger or the leaves smaller…

Jeg kan godt li’ indrammede negle, bare det ikke er mine… Men denne uges udfordring i Artsy Wednesday ER indrammede negle, så jeg matte jo være kreativ :)

Grundfarven er den smukke Essie Bikini So Teeny, og jeg indrammede min negle med blomsterranker. Jeg var rigtigt godt tilfreds med det, men jeg kunne godt have lavet blomsterne lidt større eller bladene lidt mindre, nåh, det er under alle omstændigheder i bagatel afdelingen…

I’m with the lifeguard wearing nothing but flowers

I’m so in love with this neon green China Glaze I’m With The Lifeguard from the Summer Neons coll. 2012, it’s sooo lovely. It felt just right to put one simple flower and a few dots (acrylic color) on each nail, and I couldn’t stop staring at this mani, and looking at photos of it, it still makes me happy LOL!! Unfortunately my camera had a little trouble focusing, so the flowres are just a tad blurred.

Jeg er så vild med denne neongrønne Glaze I’m With The Lifeguard fra 2012 sommer kollektionen Summer Neons, den er bare så flot. Jeg syntes det var lige tilpas med en enkelt blomst og lidt prikker (akrylfarver) på hver negl, og jeg kunne ikke lade være med at stirre på mine negle, og nu hvor jeg genser billederne, gør de mig glad igen. Desværre havde kameraet besvær med at fokusere, så blomsterne er en lille bitte smule uskarpe!
