Plan for the next weeks - and a late low-buy February

I'm taking a blog and computer break the next week or so, and that means that....
I will not visit the blogs I normally visit and comment on, so my apologies for that
- and I also will not reply to your comments on my own blog until I'm back
- BUT I have scheduled posts for every single day, so I'm almost here LOL
- and I'm going to miss you all and your sweet comments so much!!!

Low buy January (in April) - a terribe fail, part 2

WHAT - low buy JANUARY in April...?
I can explain, my Illamasqua order from January 10 - from the big sale and period where Royal Mail confiscated and destroyed lots and lots of polishes as dangerous goods - finally arrived.

In Part 1 I showed you stuff that technically was bought in December, but arrived in January, see it HERE

The below was bought in January, not a very successful low-buy month...

 When I saw the new Color Club Halo Hues 2013 - I had to have them all :)

 I also bought my first Priti Nyc polishes, I found them on an online sale...

A-England had a sale too - and fortunately these gems made it out of the UK right before Royal Mail slammed the door...

The Priti Nyc's went even lower in price, so I caved and bought a few more - and my very first Deborah Lippmann's..

And I made a swap with a good friend - and OH yes, it is RBL Piu Mosso in the middle...

And finally the Illamasqua haul from their huge sale arrived 2 days ago after waiting 3 months and 1 week due to all the problems with Royal Mail...

Low buy January - a terrible fail, part 1

Technically all of this was purchased in December, but they arrived in January....

 

I got a chance to be in a Kiko group buy right after Chrismas, so I bought just a "few" Kiko's. To my defense some of these are for future swaps and back-up ;)

I love Korres Jasmin Body milk and was running out, so one of the last days of December I bought 2 new, a body butter and a showergel - and a Korres polish - called Lilac, but to me it's looks fairly pink...

And in December I also bought these Black Heart polishes - just look at those cool skull bottles and lovely colors :)

 Some Nyx polishes found their way into a shopping basket too....

And a little this and that to finish this first part of what turned out to be a complete fail of a January low buy month, because even if these technically was purchased in December - they added to the amount of parcels - frankly I was a bit overwhelmed at some point ;)
I hope to be able to bring part II next Sunday, but I need a lot of Illamasqua's to be able to post it. A lot of parcels from Illamasqua was stopped by Royal Mail because of new restrictions, and they had to find a new way to deliver, I still haven't gotten the polishes I bought a month ago - but I hope they arrive soon...
I was lucky that my A-England polishes arrived just before that...

Color Club: Holiday Splendor (Beyond the Mistletoe coll. and it's like a slightly lighter green version of China Glaze Atlantis, quite amazing), and from the In True fashion coll: First Looks, By Design and Fashion Moments

As you can see the right number (for those of you who guessed) was 27 polishes, and I love each and everyone - thank you so, so much dear Lydia, I'm so grateful to count you as a true friend <3 :)

The week before Christmas hauls....

The recent week the mail man has brought a lot of goodies to my doorstep!!!
I'm in a Secret Santa group and the first parcel was from my Secret Santa, thank you SO much Sine for these amazing polishes, I'm totally blown away...

The polishes are left from right: OPI Done Out in Deco, Nails Inc. St. Johns Wood, NfuOH 047, Essie Capri, LASplash Ocean Sprinkles, Nicole by OPI One Voice, Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver, Essence Absolutely Blue, Dark chocolate 85% (uhhhmm) and toe Seperators - isn't that an amazing gift :)

Next up is a bunch of Jesses Girl, Julie G coll. 2011 polishes, Sally Hansen Himalayan Blue and Jade Jump, plus two cute Blue Cross Snowman glitters

- and I did shop a little extra for future swaps and presents, as you can see I fell in love with Mermaids Lagoon, I bought 3 extra of that one LOL....

 NfuOH 50 and 56 also found their way to me from Viis Ilusalong along with a few new brushes....

A mix of Models Own, W/, Barry M (3 of them are the gorgeous Gelly finish), one Smooch + 2 Smooch for swaps/presents, the lovely Viola and Lazuire, they are amazing...

 I often thought of buying Northern Lights Hologram top coat in gold and silver, and finally I did, and I love them already....

- aren't they gorgeous....?

Essie Where's my Chauffeur? and Butler Please are mine too - I love the bright, vibrant colors..

These brushes arrived TWICE. They were sent from macdady2011 on Ebay on November 15th, but since they seemed to be lost in the mail, he was as kind to replace them and ship express, thank you so much! And then 3 days later, the original parcel arrived, and as you can see it had been on a world tour, it was in Ghana on December 13th! But the kind seller let me have both sets - and I look forward to using them after having cut them in width :)

 All of J. K. Rowlings books - so I also bought a little food for the brain ;)

- and finally a Christmas gift from Lydia - I know it contains polishes - it weighs 1913 grams - in centimeters it's 16,5 cm tall, 18 cm lenght/width - how many polishes??? - GO...

I'm opening it tomorrow, and will make the wrapping last most of the day - it could be fun to post simultaneously, but I guess most of you will be running around being busy anyhow LOL :)  
AND a few hours ago a cold broke out, I'm huffing and puffing and blowing my nose - I shiver and feel terribly sorry for myself, I hope I'm feeling better tomorrow...

Haul - Kiko, Catrice & Essence, 5.2 kilo's of polish

During our vacation in Germany I had the chance to shop i a Kiko store - a "first" for me. Did I go overboard, naahhh, yes, naahhh, hmmm, perhaps, yahh probably - no..., yes....,nooo????

But not all of them are for myself, but still it's a lot, I know ;) - €122.80, the sales person found it cool LOL

And there were so many pretty Catrice's too - here I only show you the colors I got, some of them I bought several of because others need them - and for future presents ;)

And the Essenc'e group - again I bough many more than these colors - actually I totally brought back 5.2 KILO's of nail polish - do I need to seek help, do I have a problem....???

 

Catrice It's All I Can Blue is a perfect cornflower blue with a slight purple twist - soooo gorgeous, I HAD to buy more (5+) of this one too LOL

From Marianne I got 2 polishes from my wish list Ninja Polish Floam and Revlon Whimsical - yayyy. The card is the cutest ever, and I got Marianne (!!) sweets and the coolest duochrome beetle, called Billy. To the left you can see, that I previously found one similar to him, or rather whats left of it in the southern part of Germany.Thank you so much Marianne!
Fra Marianne fik jeg 2 lakker fra min ønskeseddel, nemlig Ninja Polish Floam og Revlon Whimsical yayy. Kortet er bare så sødt, og jeg fik også Marianne (!!) bolcher og en cool duocrome bille, der hedder Billy. Til venstre kan du se en lignende (resterne af den) som jeg i foråret fandt på en parkeringsplads i syd Tyskland. Tusind tak Marianne!

 

From Line I got Cult Nails Deal With It, OPI Yodel Me On My Cell, Sephora/OPI Hell To The No, Ulta3 Orchid (a huuuugeee lemming) and Liquid Glitz Cobalt Freeze - yayyy! I also got a cool "match box" with nail files, sweets, The best glue Ever (for all kinds of nail art, and really, really great) and 2 delicious kinds of tea! Thank you so much Line!

From my darling husband I got one more "house" for polishes - each drawer holds 180 polishes, but the lower drawers are for other nail art stuff. You never know if a model suddenly is discontinued, and it would be annoying not being able to get one in a year or two. So far I use the new one for the untried that aren't on the 2 acrylic racks, future gifts, polishes up for sale or swap... (click on photos to see a larger version)
Fra min kære mand fik jeg endu en neglelak kommode - hver skuffe kan rumme 180 lakker, men de nederste skuffer bruger jeg til andere negle relaterede ting. Men man ved aldrig om et møbel udgår, så derfor jeg ønskede mig den, fordi det ville være kedeligt at stå om et par år og ikke kunne få en mage til. Ind til videre bruger jeg den til de ikke afprøvede lakker, der ikke er plads til på de to acryl trapper øverst på kommoderne, gaver til andre og byttelakker...
