Chanel 2014 collections

Several of you have asked if I could show my Chanel polishes in photos, but it's difficult to show 330+ polishes in a few photos.
So on request I decided to show them sorted by year starting with 2014 and going backwards as far as I know - and all the ones of unknown age I'll figure tout how to show in another way.

Chanel Phenix 687 - Plumes Précieuse coll. holiday 2014

The brand new holiday 2014 polish from Chanel:

Chanel Phenix 687 is from the Plumes Précieuse coll. holiday 2014. 

Phenix is all you can want from a shiny, bright red cream polish for the holidays, the color is just so Christmas – and combine that with the lovely quality of Chanel – I just love it! It’s very opaque in one coat, but this is 2 easy coats without a top coat.

Chanel Intention 633, Expression 635 and Exception 639 - Rouge Allure Gloss fall 2014

Today I have swatches of the new Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss fall 2014 collection for you. 

Intention 633 is not released in Europe, but Expression 635 and Exception 639 is.

Intention 633:

Intention 633 is not sold in Europa, apparently Chanel did not think it’s a good match with European skin tones – and I agree – at least it’s not a good match for me. It’s a rich caramel nude with a very pretty golden shimmer, and here you see two coats without a top coat.

Expression 635:

Expression 635 is a beautiful classic red cream – one of those glossy reds that Chanel make so beautifully. If you are OK with a slightly visible nail line one coat might be enough, but this is two coats without a top coat.

- ans finally Exception 639:

Exception 639 is a super rich brown-red with a shimmer so subtle, that I would call it “secret”. It is super opaque in one coat, but this is two coats without a top coat – and look at that pretty finish!

What do you think - do you have a favorite..?
Mine is Expression, but I also really like how rich Exception is!

Chanel Sweet Star FNO 2014 swatches - Collaboration Saturday

YAY - it's time for another Collaboration Saturday with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!
Chanel Sweet Star was released at the Fashion Night Out (FNO) shows this year – 2014. It is silvery gunmetal metallic with shimmer and flashes of violet and purple depending on the light and the angle. This is 2 coats without a top coat!

China Glaze Off Shore coll.: Be More pacific, Dune Our Thing and Sun Upon My Skin

Here are my 3 picks from the China Glaze Off Shore coll. summer 2014.
I liked the formula in all of them, they have a good self leveling ability and the dry time is good.

Be More Pacific:

Be More Pacific is described as a light lime creme, and I agree. Two coats are enough, but here you see three.

Dune Our Thing:

Dune Our Thing is described as a dark neon berry creme – one also could call it a dark fuchsia/magenta. You easily can get away with one coat, but this is two coats.

Sun Upon My Skin:

Sun Upon my Skin is described as a yellow creme, I see it as a pastel lemon yellow. The formula is not at all streaky, maybe just a little bit runny, but not a problem. Two rich coats might be enough, but this is three.

I like them all, but Be More Pacific is so lovely and quite unique...
