The snow white flowers on Manhattan

 

 

I remember when I was young ages ago I had some Manhattan polishes, so it was quite nostalgic to find the brand in Germany. The gorgeous shade with the “interesting” name 67N is a true one coater, dry time a bit on the slow side. I used P2 544 My place or yours? for sponging across the nail, and then I went berserk with white flowers, and I really liked it. The top coats is – have you guessed it by now: Seche Vite :)

Da jeg var ung for rigtigt mange år siden, havde jeg også nogle Manhattan neglelakker, så det var helt nostalgisk at genfinde mærket i Tyskland. Denne smukke farve med det ”interessante” navn 67N er en et-lags lak, men tørretiden er noget langsom. Jeg brugte P2 544 My place or yours? til at duppe tværs hen over hver negl, og så gik jeg amok med hvide blomster, og jeg var ret vild med dem! Toplakken er – har du gættet det – JA Seche Vite!! ;)

Purple on purple one-stroke peek-a-boo flowers

 

 

 

The base color is P2 – 544 my place or yours? It’s a dark eggplant purple, in the bottle I thought it would be a little lighter and with more evident shimmer. I needed two coats, and it dries with a very shiny finish. It was so beautiful that I decided to keep my nail art simple. I took a plum colored acrylic color and mixed it with white until I found it suitable, and the I made peek-a-boo one-stroke flowers with the white in the center and for a little glam I added Stripe Rite purple glitter. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er P2 – 544 my place or yours? – en mørk auberginefarvet lilla, og I flaksen ser den ud til at være lysere og med mere tydeligt shimmer. Jeg lagde to lag og den tørrede med en skinnende finish. Den var så smuk, at jeg nøjedes med at lave en simpel nail art. Jeg tog en blommefarvet akrylfarve og blandede lidt hvid i indtil jeg syntes det var passende, og så malede jeg one-stroke blomster, der leger gemmeleg i kanten af neglene.

544 My place or yours? is a gorgeous shimmery royal purple, 2 coats give full opacity. The same goes for the shimmery royal blue, 532 Blue's Brothers. 030 Indigo Denim dries quickly with a semi-matte finish, and it looks like denim. It's a true one coater - I love this polish!!

P2 040 Honolulu Juicer - P2 010 Maui Fizz - Manhattan 67N

The 2 P2's are from the Mission: Summer Look. The sunny-bronze-orange Honolulu Juicer gives opacity in 2-3 coats, but the pale coral/rose Maui Fizz needs 3-4 coats, but it also is good for layering over another color. They both have a rather metallic finish. 

The gorgeous purple from Manhattan is a cream polish without any other name than 67N. I can be used as a one coater, but then it dries pretty slow - but the color really makes me forget all of that :)
