Ombre Haze with abstract flowers and doodling

The base colors in this abstract floral ombre is the set called Original Ombre in thecolors “Haze”  from The New Black - I showed the ombre alone right HERE.

When I received the ombre set in Haze for review, I also received the silver striper. I painted some random stripes with it, and with acrylic craft color, I painted some flowers. I topcoated with Seche Vite.

Da jeg modtog ombren til anmeldelse fik jeg også en sølv striper, se den HER. Jeg malede nogle tilfældige streger med den, og med akrylfarve malede jeg lidt blomster, før jeg lagde Seche Vite som toplak.

The New Black make it easy to do a well composed ombre - and today I'm going to show you the set called Haze, that was sent for me to review.
The application was easy and the dry time was good - 2 easy coats, and no top coat for these swatches...
I like the idea, especially for those that does not have a huge stash with several colors within a shade...

Floral pale yellow ombre – or is it prize rosettes…?

 

 

For this pastel/light yellow ombre I used the following colors goring from thumb to pinkie: China Glaze Sunshine pop, Barry M Lemon Ice Cream, Nails Inc. Notting Hill Carnival, Nails Inc. Sumner Place and Essence Mellow Yellow. 

I painted my one-stroke flowers in acrylic paint, and cannot decide if they look too much like a prize rosette LOL

Til denne lysegule ombre brugte jeg følgende farver startende fra tomlen: China Glaze Sunshine pop, Barry M Lemon Ice Cream, Nails Inc. Notting Hill Carnival, Nails Inc. Sumner Place og Essence Mellow Yellow.  

Jeg malede one-stroke blomsterne med akrylfarve, og jeg kan ikke rigtigt finde ud af, om de mest af alt ligner præmie rosetter ;)

Ombre with "additions" - Artsy Wednesday!

The theme this week of Artsy Wednesday is an ombre mani.

The truth is that I always found them to be a bit boring – but NOT any longer!

I chose to do a very shade/tone-coherent ombre within lighter blue colors going from light to darker, and I really think I achieved that…

Thumb-pinkie: Nubar Baby Blue, Nubar Blue Hydrangea, Nubar Faded jeans, China Glaze Bahamian Escape and Essie Lapis of Luxury

So, I could have stopped here – but didn’t (not much of a surprise for my regular readers ;) – should I have??

I went for a washed out look within the same color frame as the ombre, did it become too washed out...?
