Floral pale yellow ombre – or is it prize rosettes…?

 

 

For this pastel/light yellow ombre I used the following colors goring from thumb to pinkie: China Glaze Sunshine pop, Barry M Lemon Ice Cream, Nails Inc. Notting Hill Carnival, Nails Inc. Sumner Place and Essence Mellow Yellow. 

I painted my one-stroke flowers in acrylic paint, and cannot decide if they look too much like a prize rosette LOL

Til denne lysegule ombre brugte jeg følgende farver startende fra tomlen: China Glaze Sunshine pop, Barry M Lemon Ice Cream, Nails Inc. Notting Hill Carnival, Nails Inc. Sumner Place og Essence Mellow Yellow.  

Jeg malede one-stroke blomsterne med akrylfarve, og jeg kan ikke rigtigt finde ud af, om de mest af alt ligner præmie rosetter ;)

Wild orchids on Mellow Yellow

 

 

 

It was in the end of May, and I woke during the night with the vision of flowers painted like this :) The base color is Essence 51 Mellow Yellow, and before painting the flowers in acrylic color I sponged the tips with Nubar Reclaim. They made me think of a protected wild orchid (Dactylorhiza maculata) called Gøgeurt in Danish, comes in a few sub species.
I must admit: I was pretty pleased about this one!!
Fun fact: Raggio de Luna doesn't really like yellow, but immediately when she saw my swatches of this color she wrote: "you ARE going to put some tiny little flowers on it, yes?" - and since every flower is very tiny, I had to ask her if she had access to my computer LOL - so these are kind of for you Tanja!

Det var I slutningen af maj, og jeg vågnede en nat med ideen til at lave blomster som disse :)

Grundfarven er Essence 51 Mellow Yellow, og før jeeg malede blomsterne med akrylfarve duppede jeg spidsen af neglene med Nubar Reclaim. Blomsterne fik mig til at tænke på den vilde orkide Gøgeurt (Dactylorhiza maculata), som vi har i området, og som findes i forskellige underarter.

I did not experience staining with any of the above colors.
86 a lovely secret is absolutely stunning lilac with shimer, and it's even more gorgeous IRL - I really liked to wear it, and it's an easy to apply 2 coater.
87 passion for fashion is a cream purple, no staining but did chip on me the next day after a bit rough work. It's an easy to apply 2 coater.
51 Mellow Yellow is a delightful and super pale banana yellow with a light shimmer. It's an easy to apply 2-3 coater.
38 choose me is a teal with a heavy shimmer, fun to wear and to use as an effect on other colors too. It's an easy to apply 2 coater.

Nail art special effect topper 08 night in Vegas is a flakie topper very, very like Nubar 2010, Essie Luxeffects Shine of the Times, NfuOh 38.

01 Little Miss Bright is from the Season of Extremes coll. - a cream purple that is a bit sheer in 2 coats, needs 3. It’s easy to apply.

Color 3 is a series of 2 colors, where one half is an effect. Midnight date is a midnight blue shimmer and city that never sleeps is a blue jelly with flakies.
