My stamping journey - part 9

Times flies and this is part 9 already with my stamping trials take 41 to 45.
This time I only am happy about two of them, so a step back compared with part 8!

Take 41:
Take 41: Base Elevation Polish Plum Zingers and New Nicknames stamped with Colour Alike B. a Lilac Sweater, plate Bundle Monster BM-XL204, stamper Daschica Jumbo Clear Jelly.
Note to myself: Maybe not perfect – I still love it!!

Take 42:
Take 42: Base Elevation Polish Space Raspberries & Rhum stamped with Colour Alike B. a Raindrop, plate Born Pretty Store BPL-026, stamper Daschica Jumbo Clear Jelly for the index and middle and MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky for the ring finger and pinkie, read why below.
Note to myself: I had the door open – but it still was 24 degrees Celsius, so I learned how much that speeds up the dry time after scraping and reduces the time-frame for the pickup, that a super light scraping is mandatory – and that I’m still too much of a newbie to pull all of that off with a clear stamper!! SO my beloved MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky rescued me! The middle finger really shows my problems :) (and no, I could not have removed that stamp with acetone, the shimmer is too heavy in that polish).
It could have been a nice mani, but in person it was OK…

Take 43:
Take 43: Base Grace-full Nail Polish Magenta Sparks stamped with Konad Blue, plate Born Pretty Store Qgirl-048, stamper MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky.
Note to myself: Just as hot as yesterday – way too little sleep – should have stuck with my initial thought not to do any nail art and/or possibly not even change my mani. Uninspired and not well stamped – baaahhh… (the next morning I felt better and was feeling better about it ;)

Take 44:
Take 44: Base Enchanted Polish Entwined stamped with Colour Alike B. a Sweetheart, plate Born Pretty Store Qgirl-049, stamper MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky.
Note to myself: That went fairly – but I so wish that I always could make the Colour Alike CREAM stamping polishes work no matter stamper, plate or weather. It annoys me that I cannot break that code.
Yesterday when it was hot indoors I tested a LOT of cream polishes on paper, they ALL worked, also my Konad creames – but not the CA’s…. Or rather sometimes they did, but then they stuck to the stamper before it hit the paper :(

Take 45:
Take 45: Base the old Chanel Ruse stamped with Colour Alike B. an Orion, plate MoYou London Enchanted 15, stamper Daschica Jumbo Clear Jelly.
Note to myself: Not bad!
So my favorites are the first (take 41) and the last (take 45) - what's yours...?

  2. They are all wonderful, it's a pity for the inconvenient that occurred for take 42! BTW I know it's way too pinky for my usual "ME" but my fav one among these is... *drum-rolls* take 44! So perfect and so lovely colour combo :)

  4. Take 41 and Take 42 are similar, I prefer Take 41 :-)

Take 43: nice colours, try again when you will be more inspired! :-)

Take 44: I like this one, it's a typical stamping that I like - beautiful base and some creamy stamping polish :-)

Take 45 is my favourite :-) The base colour is not "my" colour at all, but the combination looks fantastic and the stamping is perfect! :-)

  7. #41 - Beautiful effect! The stamping appears to float over that polish! Love the image/polish combo (I hope you don't tire of hearing that from me.)

#42 - Yup. Been there done that. Beautiful colors though!!! :)

#43 - Can't win them all. Pretty colors to try again - maybe different pattern... Isn't it funny how after time goes by we often are happier than our initial reactions though.

#44 - Gorgeous combo again. Although - I don't think it is bad at all! I know technically maybe there are flaws, but it looks fantastic. Yet, I hear you on struggling with polishes for stamping. It can be hair-pulling! You're a trooper, I would have given up most likely.

#45 - How fascinating!!!! Wow!! That macro photo just slays me! Love the color/polish combo big time!!! My favorite of this bunch. :)

    Keep them coming.... :)

    1. Thank you so much Kim, I'm so happy you like Take 41 :)
Lol, yes, I struggle with the cream polishes from Colour Alike, not their shimmers and duo/multichromes, I love those...
Thanks again - and yes, I have a lot more to post :D
