Isadora Atlantis, Scuba Blue and Poseidon, Aquatic Trend coll. swatches

This Friday morning post brings you three bright and beautiful Isadora polishes from the Aquatic Trend collection spring/summer 2013: Atlantis, Scuba Blue and Poseidon.
They are well pigmented and are opaque in two rich coats or three thinner – I’m showing them with top coat.

Atlantis:

Isadora Atlantis 759 is a really beautiful bright and strong slightly blue-toned green cream. I have a “thing” for this type of green ;)

 Scuba Blue:

Isadora Scuba Blue 757 is an adorable bright light blue with a very subtle shimmer, not really visible to the naked eye – it’s the kind of light blue hat I love so much!

Poseidon:

Isadora Poseidon 760 is a gorgeous bright green cream, it makes me happy just by looking at it!

Juicy gossip in the field of flowers

 

 

The base color is Nailstation Juicy Gossip – a gooorgeous mint cream color. I sponged the tips with China Glaze Atlantis and the field of tiny flowers I painted with acrylic craft color. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er Nailstation Juicy Gossip, som jeg er helt vild med. Jeg duppede tipperne med China Glaze Atlantis for at få lidt glitter effekt, og blomsterengen malede jeg med akrylfarve. Toplakken er Seche Vite.

Go Pink Wednesday - week 5

 

 

In this last week of ”Go pink Wednesday” breast cancer awareness I have chosen the same base color for all my 3 designs, it’s China Glaze Rich & Famous. I did however top each of the nails with different effects. The first from the left has a coat of Sinful Pinky Glitter and the tip is sponged with Models Own Purple Haze. The next a coat of Kiko 234 (Sparkle Touch coll.) and the tip is sponged with China Glaze Atlantis. The last has a coat of Essence Party Princess and the tip is sponged with Sation Ego Friendly. The rest is as usual painted freehand with acrylic craft colors, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

To-Teally Hot Flowers

 

 

 

The base color is Finger Paints To-Teally Hot. I sponged a little China Glaze Atlantis over it as the go perfectly hand in hand color-wise. And lo and behold, I also had an acrylic color in the exact same shade – so I mixed it with white for the flowers, and finally I top coated with Seche Vite!

Grundfarven er Finger Paints To-Teally Hot. Jeg duppede en smule China Glaze Atlantis over den, da de passer perfekt sammen i farvenuance. Og minsandten om jeg ikke også havde en akrylfarve i præcis den samme nuance – så den blandede jeg med hvidt og malede blomster, og til slut topcoatede jeg med Seche Vite!

China Glaze Atlantis, Speciality Collection 2009, swatches & review - anmeldelse

Todays post is a quick one from the vault, all I have time for. Sorry about the very large gap between the cuticle and polish, at that point I had glasses that REALLY didn't fit all. But the light was just perfect for the polish when I did this, so that's why I have kept it...
Atlantis is a teal green jelly with a ton of glitter, and it’s THE most multicolor glitter I own – simply gorgeous.  

It applies well and dries quickly. Here you see 3 coats, that is necessary for full opacity, and I added a top coat to make it smooth.

Atlantis er en petrol blå/grøn jelly med et vognlæs glitter, og det er absolut DEN mest multifarvede glitter jeg har – en er vidunderlig smuk.

Den er let at påføre og tørrer hurtigt. Her ser du den med 3 lag, der er nødvendig for at den dækker helt, og jeg har også lagt en top coat for at gøre den mere glat.
