Design Glassware by Mont Bleu set of 3 glass nail files review - and a giveaway reminder

I my opinion some of the worlds finest crystal glass files are made by Mont Bleu/DesignGlassware by Mont Bleu, so I am happy to review this lovely glass nail files set with “Waterfall” design:

The three files come in a set of large (195mm/7.68 in), medium (135mm/5.32 in) and small (90mm/3.54 in) - one for your purse, one for home manicure and the last one for pedicure. This set is a great gift idea and an essential nail care tool.
As all Mont Bleu nail files they are made from Czech tempered glass in Bohemia and have a lifetime warranty on the filling surface. The files are hand decorated with Swarovski crystals and presented in black velvet sleeves.Read more about the set right HERE!

I love the Swarovski crystals but if you prefer your nail tools without crystals, Mont Bleu also have a wide range of files without crystals and decorations.

And they have a wide range of nail and beauty related accessories!

Since I did THIS REVIEW back in April I have been using my Mont Bleu files - BUT when I needed to take off some length I always seemed to grab my long Leighton Denny file, because of the long filing surface. That has however changed now...

The large Mont Bleu file is just marvelous, and I feel it's a bit coarser than my Leighton Denny and it gets the job done a little quicker - so what's not to like about that!

All 3 files leaves my nail tips smooth and without file shavings worth mentioning, I really, really like the result!

So I can give my honest recommendation to this set, the price is €27 - and as mentioned you can get it without stones - and in other colors.

When I got the chance to review some products from Design Glassware by Mount Bleu I was happy to say yes: I for a long time have wanted to test their beautiful and famous glass files!

These lovely items arrived only a few days after I replied to the email. Two glass files, tweezers, ear rings and a compact mirror - all with beautiful Swarovski rhinestones - I have my whole long life had a soft spot for Swarovski....

This beautiful compact mirror will be found in my handbag. It has two mirrors: a normal and a magnifying mirror. It comes in a beautiful box, ready to wrap for a present if needed!

Personally I fell in love with THIS RING!

This pair of tweezers is hands down the best I ever had - I love the flat part at the tip, it secures a very good grip on whatever you are using them for. I tested it on hairs, it works wonderfully!

Last - but not least - the Mont Bleu glass files - a mini for the makeup purse and a normal sized. They are made of Czech tempered glass, also known as crystal.
The files come in velvet pouches - AND with a life-long guarantee on the filing surfaces!
I tested them both, and I really like them a lot - and guess what, they are really affordable (comes in many different prices) and the shipping costs are love, whats not to love about that!?!
You can use both sides of the file, and the glass is pleasantly thin and hence light. The files work very well, files the nails down quickly and leaves you with a smooth and pleasantly rounded free edge.
REMEMBER to rinse your glass file regularly to remove the nail dust. I use running water and brush it lightly with a soft brush (for dishes).

China Glaze Carry Me Away for the Holidays, part of "Let it Snow" 2011 Collection

- is a set with four polishes and the most adorable manicure carrying case with a nail file and room for three polishes and other tools, I simply HAD to have that one! I bought it from Buy Nails Direct and am expecting two of the other sets from China Glaze's holiday collection 2011 “Let it Snow” any day now.

Velvet Bow is probably a little bit too vampy for my liking, but I adore the three other colors. Especially Tinsel town, that is the steel grey sibling to the olive Halloween color: It's Alive. I will eventually make "on nail swatches" for you
