Once in a while (rarely) a polish bleeds through your painted nail art when you top coat. Read more in my previous post on the subject HERE
Engang imellem (sjældent) er der neglelakker, der bløder gennem ens håndmalede nail art, når man lægger toplakken. Læs mere om emnet i mit tidligere indlæg HER
Og til alle danske læsere: skal jeg fortsat blogge på såvel engelsk og dansk? - giv din stemme i menuen til højre....
Before top coating - fortunately while working I had a hunch that this might happen and took these photos before top coating....Og til alle danske læsere: skal jeg fortsat blogge på såvel engelsk og dansk? - giv din stemme i menuen til højre....
Før toplakken - heldigvis fik jeg en fornemmelse af at de var galt mens jeg arbejdede, så jeg tog disse fotos før jeg lagde toplakken...
The base
color is Illamasqua Optimist from the Rubber Brights coll. – after the top coat - totally ruined mani. My white-red flowers are very difficult to see and looks pretty ugly...
Grundfarven
er Illamasqua Optimist fra Rubber Brights coll. – efter toplakken, en fuldstændigt ødelagt manicure. Mine hvid-røde blomster er svære at se og ser iøvrigt også ret trælse ud...
Too bad the colour bled and faded. It looked like an awesome mani before top coat.
SvarSletThanks Vedrana, yes, it could have been beautiful!
SletI actually don't think it's all that bad. I know it wasn't intentional, but I like it.
SvarSletDanish or English, you know I don't mind :)
I'm so happy you like it nonetheless - and thanks, yes I know :)
SletAw, I don't think it's completely destroyed--I can still tell they're flowers. :)
SvarSletLOL that is true Karen - thanks a lot!
SletI wouldn't say, that this has been destroyed by applying the topcoat. Well, it doesn't look as it did before, but it's still nice.
SvarSletKind regards,
Elena
Yeah I know, but it's just when I pictured it to be like I did - it was a bummer LOL - thanks Elena!
SletThat's a pity that the color bled to this extent. The original mani looks really nice though. I don't think topcoat destroyed your mani, but the flowers are really subtle now.
SvarSletA little less bleeding would have been more edible I agree - thanks a lot Kayono!
SletI don't think so Maria, I like it with the top coat ^^
SvarSletI'm so glad you like it anyhow, thanks a lot Irmak!
SletI like it! It´s not such a great problem... :-)
SvarSletI'm happy to hear it, thanks a lot Lillibit!
SletToo bad the colors bled onto your flowers, but if you didn't mention it, I probably wouldn't even know. It looks beautiful either way. :-)
SvarSlet~ Yun
Aw, what a sweet way to put it, thanks a lot Yun!
SletI don't it's bad at all! I kind of like the fact that the flowers turned out to be kind of melting together with the background.
SvarSletMelting flowers indeed LOL - thanks a lot Helena!
SletI've had that happen when stamping. The topcoat just smears the image all over the place!
SvarSletIf you mean what I think you mean, smearing is different, it drags the pattern, and that happens when the pattern isn't dry before you top coat - and some top coats are worse than others - but maybe I misunderstood what you wrote...?
SletLove the mani without topcoat...
SvarSletYes I agree, it was much prettier then, thanks a lot Puja!
SletI Think it still looks good :)
SvarSletI'm glad you like it nonetheless - thanks a lot BBeauty Shades!
SletThey do not ugly but they changes alot indeed with that topcoat. A pitty but you don't know it until you top coat ;-).
SvarSletYes, it was pretty annoying LOL - I'm glad you still like them tho, thanks Katherine!
Sletbleeding or not, this is one hell of the manicure :D
SvarSleti envy you, my skin ton just hates these kind of colors
Aww, you are so sweet, and yes I can use strong orange LOL - thanks a lot Zana!
SletToo bad the mani was spoilt! But it takes an expert's eye like yours to see the difference - and I don't think the tocoated flowers are so ugly. Besides, I love this bright orange. I wonder how I skipped it if it was on sale?!
SvarSletI don't speak Danish but I surely will keep following you even if you don't use English. I enjoy what you do! I don't translate anything myself. However I do reply to commenters in their own language if I know it - alternatively in a language common to both of us. Kisses :-*
Thanks a lot Julie - and it wasn't on their sale, at least I'm pretty sure it wasn't...
SletI'm not going to stop blogging in English, but might stop in Danish, at least to some extent...
That's so strange! I think this happened to one of my manis as well, the top coat turned my nail art a totally different color! I'm assuming you used acrylic paint, maybe that's it, that's what I used too....anyways, another beautiful mani and beautiful color combo - I'm so jealous if your stash!!
SvarSletYes, it's acrylic colors, so it probably did happen to you too - we aught to make a list of bleeding polishes...
SletAww, I'm happy you like my stash, thanks a lot Nicole!
that orange is awesome!!!
SvarSletIt really is beautiful!
Sletwhat ruined? i dont think so. I get that it didn't quite work as expected but i dont think is ugly at all. Bleeding polishes cant make you look bad, you are too awesome!
SvarSletLOL, you are so sweet and fun - thank you my dear friend :)
SletThe good thing is that you had a hunch that this might happen so you took the photos of this manicure also before top coating.. :-)
SvarSletYeah, the white kind of looked funny, so I top coated my right hand first and sure enough...
SletAw it looks nice both ways hehe :D
SvarSletI'm glad you think so - but when you first have pictured the result in your mind, for me this was nok very pretty LOL
SletO-O
SvarSletOMG!
How to ruin a lovely mani T_T
LOL - a very precise way of putting it - thanks a lot *Ky*
