It's once again time for a Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel - and I'm showing an oldie:)
Chanel Patine Garland is an US exclusive. I do not know how old it is, but it’s definitely older than 2002. It’s difficult to describe – but the closest I can get is a coppery caramel with a lot of golden shimmer. It’s not like a duochrome – but still it changes depending on the angle and light. It is super opaque in one coat, but this is two easy coats without a top coat.
I'm fascinated by this one - what do you think?
And I wonder what Elena has for us today, I'm going there now - do you want to come along?

Chanel Cobra 91 swatches - vintage
Chanel Cobra 91 – was released earlier than 2002 – do you know when?
Cobra looks dark purple in the bottle, but it’s all the gorgeous purple shimmer that shows off. On the nail it’s almost black to look at in low light – but OHHH in the sun, it’s stunning!
This is two easy coats, super dry time – and look at that shine even without a top coat.I love Cobra - how about you..?

Chanel Topaze 82 swatches - vintage - Collaboration Saturday
Another Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel is ready to post - and about time too, as you can see my nails were shorter = old swatches ;)
Chanel Topaze 82 is around or before 2000 – do you know?
Chanel Topaze 82 is around or before 2000 – do you know?
Topaze is a dark caramel-copper-burnt sugar metallic with an extremely shiny finish, very unique and interesting I think. The application is easy, the dry time is good and here you see two coats without a top coat.
Do you like this interesting polish..?Let's see what Elena has for us!!

Chanel Rose Escale 16 - vintage
Chanel Rose Escale 16 is one of
my really, really old polishes. It can be both late 70s or from the 80s, so it
feels like a piece of history even to open it. And I did so in awe, and was
pleased to find a perfect formula, just as perfect as a brand new Chanel…
Rose Escale 16 is a pretty dark rose pink cream, two
easy coats!Do you like this maybe 30-40 years old Chanel..?

Chanel Dragée 75 swatches - vintage - Collaboration Saturday
Today it's a new Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!
Chanel Dragée 75 is from or older than 2002, but how old is the question, could be around 2000…
Chanel Dragée 75 is from or older than 2002, but how old is the question, could be around 2000…
Dragée is a delicate powdery-peachy pink pearlescent
polish with a fine silver shimmer.
Two coats are enough, but this is tree coats without a
top coat. The formula, dry time and finish is perfect. Do you like this delicate powdery peachy shade..?
Let's see what Elena has for us today...

Chanel Fluorine 11 swatches - vintage - Collaboration Saturday
Collaboration Saturday time again with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!
Chanel Fluorine 11 is a
vintage, but I am hoping someone can help me with a year of release. I’m
guessing it a 90’s or older. Edit: I heard from a lady on Pinterest that she had this as one of her first Chanels back in the mid 90s!
Fluorine is not a color I normally would buy, but it’s
great for my Chanel collection because I want to show as many as possible.
It’s one of those smoky grey toned polishes with a slight pink hue, very
discrete on its own, so I decided to check what it would look like layered over
black (middle finger) and dark purple (ring finger). So here you have 2 coats
of Fluorine both alone and layered. No top coat.Well, what do you think of this maybe not so exciting palate cleanser among all the bright summer colors..?
I'm pretty sure Elena has something a bit more colorful for us, or maybe she hasn't, so let's go and have a look!

Chanel Beige D'Or 24 swatches over different colors - vintage
Chanel Beige D’Or 24 – is not
the same as the later Beige D’Or 223. I do not know how old it is, but it’s
clearly a vintage, probably from the 90's, and not seen for sale very often.
Beige D’Or 24 is a beautiful gold shimmer in a very
sheer beige base. It would look gorgeous on its own on nails without the ridges
I have.
So I chose to show it in 1 coat as a topper over four
Chanel polishes: Black Satin 219, Suspicious 561, Blue Rebel 553 and Mysterious
601.I'm not too fond of it over Blue Rebel, but I do like the other layerings - what do you think..?

Chanel Corail - Coral swatches - vintage
Chanel Corail Coral – is a
“Made in USA”, and I don’t know how old it is, probably 90’s or older.
This is a scheduled post, I am having a long needed offline week, but I look forward to reading your comments and visiting your blogs again around May 6th….
Corail – Coral is a red with a coral hue and a slight
red brick hue – unfortunately I couldn’t color correct it to be accurate, it
looks more clear red on my photos – sorry about that.
It is very opaque in one coat, but this is 2 coats
without a top coat, but just look at that shiny finish!
Thank you so much Vedrana for telling me about the
blog sale where I bought it, as it’s rarely seen on Ebay!
Imagine Corail - Coral a bit more coral and brick red - do you like it?This is a scheduled post, I am having a long needed offline week, but I look forward to reading your comments and visiting your blogs again around May 6th….

Chanel Metal Roux 93 swatches and comparisons - vintage
Chanel Métal Roux 93 – is a vintage and I’m guessing
1990's – do you know...?
Metal Roux is a bronze/red copper metallic with a subtle
shimmer, not a color I normally would buy, but it's my mission is to swatch as many Chanel’s as
possible!
It is fairly opaque in one coat, but this is 2 coats without a top coat. - and finally a comparison
- so tell me - do you like Métal Roux?
