Yesterday the storm/hurricane Bodil hit Denmark, and we still have a pretty hefty storm. Around five in the afternoon yesterday our private wind mill messured 51,8 meters/second in blows = 183,6 kilometer per hour, so that is truly hefty. We had minimal damage, but it was scary at one point.
The base
color is Chanel Graphite 529, se it HERE, and after debating with myself what
to paint, I painted a floral French with acrylic craft colors. The top coat is
Seche Vite.
Grundfarven er Chanel Graphite 529, se den HER, og efter at
have diskuteret lidt med mig selv om hvad jeg skulle male, blev det en fransk
manicure med blomster malet med akrylfarve. Toplakken er Seche Vite.
I hope everything is fine again, after the storm :/
SvarSletYou've worked so well here that at first sight the flowers seem to be water decals, amazing! :)
It is - at least here - thanks :)
SletAww, I'm so pleased to hear it *Ky* - thanks a lot :)
Love the background colour and the flowers :)
SvarSletI'm so pleased to hear it, thanks a lot Beautyshades :)
SletVery pretty flower french! 51,8!!!! Yes, that must have been very scary. Good to hear that you had minimal damage.
SvarSletThank you so much Lani - and yes it was - and I only need to find a runaway door mat and harmless things like that :)
SletI'm glad everything is fine on your end! I think they said that 180km/h was like the fastest winds they expected?! Crazy that you actually measured that! I'm pretty much in the middle of Germany and it was still quite bad. Couldn't sleep because of the howling, haha...
SvarSletYes, it was so interesting to follow the wind rise safely in front of my lap top LOL - I have a terrible time sleeping too, when the wind is strong like that - also because I NEED an open window when I sleep LOL
SletIt's good to hear you're okay. I've never seen such a storm.
SvarSletYour hot orange flowers defy this cold weather and look lovely.
Thank you so much Vedrana - and I'm so pleased you like them - they sure do defy the weather LOL
SletI'm glad to hear that you're fine Maria. I love your flowers as always :)
SvarSletThanks a lot Irmak - and I am so happy to hear it <3
SletThat's really pretty!
SvarSletThe worst damage around our house was the bins being thrown around in the yard, so that's ok, I guess :)
Thanks a lot my friend :) - yeah a fruit tree lost one half and mu doormat flew away along with some minor things - so that's not bad at all :)
Sletperfect color combo, this is really lovely :D
SvarSletglad you survive that storm without consequence :*
I'm so happy you like it, thanks a lot for the kind thoughts too :)
SletThanks a lot Kelly!
SvarSletHow pretty! I love how the flowers look over the base!
SvarSletThank you so much Traci, sweet music to my ears :)
SletHi Maria, thank God you're save after that terrible wind. I hope all your loved ones are safe too. I can imagine it must have been scary!
SvarSletThe manicure is gorgeous! I love how the coral flowers make the metallic base come to life :)
Thank you so much for your kind thought - and yes, it rather was :)
SletI'm so pleased you like it, thanks a lot Natalia!
Here it was called Xaver and they said it was coming from Danmark ;o).
SvarSletKind regards,
Elena
I'll never go to Germany again, you risk changing your gender at the border ,)
SletThese look awesome with silver as the background!
SvarSletThank you so much Amber, I'm so happy you like it!
SletAnd in Sweden the storm was named Sven, and it was windy in the south, but where I live it was just wind ... and some snow. :-)
SvarSletYour combination is just beautiful! Christmas flowers! :)
That is so weird, 3 neighbor countries and 3 different names...
SletWe had a touch of snow, but only briefly...
Thank you so much Camilla, I'm so pleased you like it!!
oh i dont like storms, they are so scary!
SvarSletThese manicure is beautiful Maria, really pretty flower french!
They really can be just that - but I am so happy you like my flowers :)
Slet"Mother Nature" gives us also very beautiful things, but can also be so cruel sometimes; maybe she wants to make us appreciate also some small things that we start to appreciate after scarry storms... I'm glad to hear you're OK :-)
SvarSletI love the base and the flowers! :-)
That is so true - but thinking of the countries where entire areas are wiped out, where people were struggling to survive from poverty even before the hurricane, it is difficult to think that way for me :)
SletThanks a lot Tanja, I'm glad you like it :)
Glad to hear that everything is ok!
SvarSletP.S. This manicure looks so pretty!
Thanks a lot Irina :)
