Ciate swatches: Big Yellow Taxi and Burlesque

Ciate Big Yellow Taxi is a strong, bold cool-toned yellow cream polish, with a beautiful shiny finish. The formula is nice to work with, and two coats would be enough for most nails – this is however three coats without a top cat.

Burlesque:
Burlesque is a beautiful very dark blue-toned eggplant purple cream polish, with a beautiful shiny finish. The formula and dry time are really good, and this is two coats without a top cat.

    Both of these are nice. I've tried BYT and found it to be quite streaky - but after 3 coats I managed to get a decent finish. It was from the Advent Calendar a few years back. :-)

      Fortunately mine went on like a dream - but the calender ones are mini's right?
      I generally hate mini's it seems like the formula behaves differently from the larger bottles - also the brushes often are crap...

      Yeah it was a mini. You know I've read a good few people saying about the brushes being rubbish - but I've never had a problem with my brushes in the mini sets! Maybe I'm the lucky one lol?

    I like the yellow - surprise! The purple is a tad too dark for me, I know it would look nothing but black on my nails :)
